Home Textiles Premium by Textilhogar will present, from Thursday onwards, the trends and new products for next season, hand in hand with 71 exhibiting firms, a 50% more than in the first edition. The event expects the attendance of international professional buyers coming from 29 countries.
Valencia, 6 September 2016. – Everything set for the second edition of Home Textiles Premium by Textilhogar. The Altillo (Mezzanine) exhibition space, at Chamartín Railway Station will play host next week, from Thursday 8 September to Saturday 10, to the only specialist fair in home textiles that is held in Spain bringing together the offering of 71 exhibiting firms, a 53% more than in previous edition.
The show, that is geared towards a professional visitor profile specialising in this segment, has become the main international platform and showcase for the presentation of trends, innovations preview and new products for the sectors of home textiles, upholstery and decoration
Home Textiles Premium by Textilhogar gathers together the main Spanish and Portuguese firms of the sector, both manufacturers and publishers that will present more than 200 new firms, brands and collections for the Autumn-Winter 2016 season as well as a preview for 2017.
The fair will also present a trends space for which the four main styles that are going to make a real difference in the sector for next season have been selected: the galactic trend ‘Photon Blue’, the ethnic one ‘Island Fluor’, the transgressive one ‘Office Cream’ and the classic ‘Focus Brown’. All of them can be seen in a unique show located at the exhibitions space of Madrid’s Chamartín Altillo (Mezzanine).
The show –that in its first edition last year received 1.800 buyers- is geared towards the main professional channels of the sector, i.e. shops, stores, purchasing groups, manufacturers of upholstered furniture, decorators, specifiers and interior designers.
Additionally, Home Textiles Premium by Textilhogar has a strong international business platform nature. In this respect, under the coordination of the Association of Textile Businesses of the Comunidad Valenciana, ATEVAL – Home Textiles from Spain, and with the support of IVACE Internacional and ICEX, the visit of about 70 international professional buyers with very high purchasing power has been organized. They are coming from 29 key markets for the sector such as USA, United Arab Emirates, Russia, Morocco, Germany or Japan. The objective is to boost sales abroad in a sector, which, according to the latest ICEX statistics, recorded a 10’1% increase during the first half of 2016, reaching a total of 597’1 million euros.
All of these elements consolidate Home Textiles Premium by Textilhogar, in just two editions, as the benchmark event in its sector, after its premiere last year also in Madrid. The event is organized by Feria Valencia together with the Association of Textile Businesses of the Comunidad Valenciana, ATEVAL – Home Textil From Spain and will be open exclusively to professionals from Thursday to Saturday from 10:00 to 19:00 hrs.
