THE BEST BRANDS, NEW TRENDS AND DEVELOPMENTS IN HOME TEXTILES MEET IN MADRID

The new sector’s leading trade show welcomes national and international buyers from 23 countries and will show the next seasonal trends through the ‘Trends Together’ exhibition.

 Valencia, 16 September 2015. – Everything is in place. The Real Fábrica de Tapices in Madrid will open its doors tomorrow from 17 to 19 September to welcome the first edition of Home Textiles Premium by Textilhogar, the showcase par-excellence of this sector, allowing 47 ‘premium’ exhibitor companies from Spain and Portugal to promote and highlight their new items.  This amount represents substantially the total exhibition area planned.

The event has more than achieved its objective of bringing together a high quality products selection, comprising the most attractive showcase ever, aimed both at shops and distributors and at national and international prescriptors.  The fair has confirmed the presence of purchasers coming from 23 countries within the framework of the International purchasers plan of the Show, under the coordination of ATEVAL – Home Textiles from Spain, the Industrial Textile Association -, with the support of Feria Valencia, IVACE Internacional and ICEX

In addition to this, the event will boast the presence of 13 international trade journalists from Germany, Austria, Belgium, Colombia, United States, Ireland, Kazakhstan, Lebanon, Morocco, Mexico, Portugal and Russia, this being the result of the “reverse mission” implemented by ATEVAL and ICEX for the first edition of Home Textiles Premium by Textilhogar.

New developments presented by exhibitors for the 2015/16 season

 The fair will be the scene for the presentation of historical brands of the industry such as Don Algodón, returning with greater strength to the market, or new collections for the 2015/16 season from a growing number of companies.  Among them, we can mention the Portuguese company Aldeco, presenting its new collection inspired in tropical environments and the uniqueness of the hand-woven textiles from Abatte and the carpets in 100% pure new wool from Alpujarreña.  Bon Drap will present its new flags, while Bitex will show a flurry of new collections, CR Class values its new and modern range of wallpaper products and Comersán commits itself to digital printing and Jacquard in its latest collections.

Also Coordonné will imbue its new collections with autumn and Evo Fabrics will feature tradition in its ‘Filigrana’ collection.  DRT will launch its fabrics new collection under the dominant theme of ‘Ornamentality’ and Froca relies on its ‘Apolo’ fabric, perfect for tapestry products, as it only needs water for cleaning. Grupo Lamadrid will also present its collections Kristin and Morocco, while stonewashed cotton and flax will be stars in the Hijos de Antonio Ferré firm.

Continuing with the broad review of the recent developments and project advances form our exhibitors, Murtra will present its Murtatrec 04 collection of made-to-measure technical curtains and systems for window decoration.  A leader company: Interfabrics will show its new Destinity collection, bringing warmth to your home; and carpets and rugs will play the key role in Jordi Mas i Signes.

The Lasa Home international company will showcase three different atmospheres in their new collections while bed linen is the star for Luisa Sempere.  Additionally, Manuel Revert will also take advantage of the fair’s showcase to present its new collection of fabrics, with a major role played by pastels, water and pink colors.  The participation of Yébane Española will also be decisive with its new collections, textures and colors.

What is perhaps most remarkable about the presence of Marutx are printed fabrics, as well as the new Manhattan de Milenio collection by Pielsa, the new trend fabric from Rosatex or the three catalogues of home textiles products by S. Gramage Hogar.  Texathenea will also show its new 2015 collection based on new textures and colors, just as Textol or Visatex that rely on latest’s trends.  Textils Mora, on the other hand will present new products in digital print blankets and plaids, Tuvatextil features its new outdoor fabrics and Escrig its decoration, upholstery and fashion fabrics.

In rugs, Universal XXI will showcase its new lines, for both indoor and outdoor and the new colorful ‘Happy Style’ rugs, while Viuda de Rafael Gandía uses natural yarns for its new collection, and Ze…conzeta will present in Madrid its new fabrics made of natural fibers.  The window complements will be protagonists in the Galerías Álvarez Decoración stand, while the Portuguese Henrique & Rodrigues will feature its 2015 HR edition collection.

Innovation in fabrics will also be present in Home Textiles Premium by Textilhogar, featuring the first sound-absorbing textile with its innovative three-dimensional surface presented by Textil Batavia or the new viscoelastic pillows from Belnou and the new breathable 100% organic cotton under-sheet from Velamen.  The Institute for Textile Technology AITEX will also show its new lines of research and services.

‘Trends Together’, trends show

Together with the trade show, Home Textiles Premium will host the ‘Trends Together’ show, a display of style, research and selection, implemented by the specialized agency Contexto Comunicación, that has identified four main trends for the next season: Wanderlust, Mangata, Serendipity y Meraki.

This professional event will open its doors next Thursday 17 September until Saturday 19 September, from 10:00 to 19:00 hrs.
