Industry’s major players set to return to the fair, with organisers expecting more than 200 brands at the Madrid event
Valencia, 3th May 2019.- The sales campaign for the next edition of Home Textiles Premium by Textilhogar, which runs from 11th to 13th September this year at Madrid’s Caja Mágica has made a brisk start. The event is reaffirming its positioning as the only fair in Spain dedicated 100% to textiles for the home, décor and upholstery and has already achieved 75% of expected occupancy, with five months still to go before opening day.
As a result, there are once again high expectations for the fair, which last time round featured 87 exhibitors representing 237 companies and brands, both Spanish and international. As for this coming September’s edition, Home Textiles Premium by Textilhogar has already confirmed that a high percentage of exhibitors at the 2018 show will be returning, with these including the industry’s biggest names, which choose to exhibit at the event created by Feria Valencia and Ateval-Home Textiles from Spain year after year.
The rollcall of companies that have already confirmed they will be at Madrid’s Caja Mágica in September include manufacturers such as Texere, Abececasa, Aznar Textil, Cañete, Casper Dos, Castilla Textil, C&D Fabrics, Comersan, Cotopur Kamasana, Creaciones Euromoda, Dabedan, Destiny Decor, Martina Home by Enguitex Home, Eysa Confección, KA International, Francisco Jover and Froca.
Other returnees include Galerías Álvarez Decoración, Globaltex Home, González Llado, Grucotex, Antonio Ferre – Oxid, Industrias Bitex, Murtra, Cisne Rojo, Juan Campos, Levantex Bocairent, Level Fabrics and Manuel Revert. The extensive list goes on, with confirmed exhibitors also including Belnou, La Tapicera, Piel SA, Rafsol, Rioma, Rosatex Exclusive, SG Hogar, Pikolin Home and Frances Home Textiles.
The register of exhibitors at Home Textiles Premium at Caja Mágica features yet more brands set to add value to the event, with Athenea, Antilo, Casa Moda, Textiles Joyper, Texol, Textiles Pastor, Textiles Reina, Arce – Textiles Bordados, Visatex, Textils Mora, Tuvatextil, Yebane and Zabala Group being just a few.
As the fair’s director, Máximo Solaz, explains, “four editions in, this is a fair that is definitely well-established within the industry now. It can well claim to be the only fair that specializes 100% in this sector of industry, with a highly professional profile of both Spanish and international visitors. Also, it offers our exhibitors a significant degree of probability that they will do business at the show.”
The director expressed his gratitude to those exhibitors that have supported the fair year after year. “A high percentage come back every year,” he claimed, whilst also thanking the support that trade association Ateval – Home Textiles from Spain has given to boost what is “the industry’s main event and a business platform of the first order”.
Meanwhile, the director of ATEVAL’s International Development Department, Leila Bachetarzi, underscored the “the markedly international nature of the fair. Last time round we welcomed highly qualified buyers from 33 countries, who came both in response to invitations sent out by us and as part of the trade mission arranged by ATEVAL – Home Textiles from Spain, which was supported by IVACE Internacional and ICEX.”
The organisers are also putting the final touches to the programme of parallel events set to be rolled out within the framework of the commercial exhibition at Madrid’s Caja Mágica. The programme will comprise a number of initiatives targeted at professional specifiers such as interior designers, architects and decorators, an increasingly significant community within the home textiles, upholstery and décor business.
The next edition of Home Textiles Premium by Textilhogar takes place from 11th to 13th September this year at Madrid’s Caja Mágica exhibition centre.
