HOME TEXTILES PREMIUM BY TEXTILHOGAR 2017 SET TO TAKE PLACE AT MADRID’S CAJA MÁGICA FROM 7 TO 9 SEPTEMBER

València, 2nd March 2017.- The third edition of the Home Textiles Premium by Textilhogar event is set to take place at the Caja Mágica in Madrid from 7th to 9th September this year. The move means that the trade fair for home textiles, upholstery and décor will be staged in a more modern venue that offers improved exhibition facilities.

Standing on the banks of the Manzanares river and with links to the country’s main transportation networks, the Caja Mágica offers state-of-the-art multi-purpose facilities that combine technology and convenience. Known as the home of the annual Madrid Open Tennis Tournament and the star building in the capital’s bid to host the Olympics, the Caja Mágica is not just a sports structure: it also has spacious exhibition halls with full facilities for access, build-up and breakdown.

Home Textiles Premium by Textilhogar is the solution to the growth requirements of a fair the last edition of which saw exhibitor numbers rise to 71 (50% more than the first year) and visitor numbers soar beyond 2000, with professionals coming from 29 countries. The move shows that the fair is keeping pace with its own progress, having been held at the Real Fábrica de Tapices (Royal Tapestry Factory) in 2015 and at Chamartín station last year.

What we have done is try to cater for the fair’s growth,” explains the event’s director,  Máximo Solaz, who underscores “the considerable support we have from the exhibitors, who had already expressed interest in finding a venue that was better able to accommodate the potential growth of Home Textiles Premium by Textilhogar”.  Solaz notes that the Caja Mágica will enable the fair “to expand and grow relative to the 2016 edition”.

Organised by Feria Valencia with the support of ATEVAL – Home Textiles from Spain, the industry’s trade association, the fair has already begun to be promoted. Prospects are very positive and there is strong interest from companies in the industry. It is worth remembering that a survey taken at the last show revealed that over 95% of exhibitors were intending to take part in Home Textiles Premium by Textilhogar 2017.

For Leila Bachetarzi, Director of Sales Promotion and Internationalization at ATEVAL, “this third edition creates continuity for  an exciting, attractive project designed to be a national and international platform for Spanish and a contingent of Portuguese home textile manufacturers to show their latest collections. They all share the same features of being design, quality and innovation led, in line with the prestige branding that drives Home Textiles Premium 2017”.
